Drone photography / Real estate listing photos and video
Drone photos and video for your listing.
Aerial photos and a short video can show what a listing photo from the street cannot: lot size, the yard, the roofline, and how close the water, the train or the park really is. A listing shoot is typically a handful of edited stills, sometimes with a short clip, and many photographers sell it as an add-on to a standard photo package.
What you get
What is in the package.
Best for: Homeowners selling without a big marketing budget, agents who want aerials without hiring a full production company, and landlords listing a multi-family.
- Edited aerial stills of the whole property, front, back and context shots
- An optional short video clip, edited and ready to upload to a listing or share link
- Files delivered by download link at web and print resolution
- Shots planned around the lot, the neighbors and the light on the day
- A quick check of the airspace at your address before the flight is booked
The honest limit. Aerial photos do not replace good interior photos, and a flight cannot happen in rain or strong wind. Plan a weather backup day.
Price
What it typically costs.
$250 to $900 is the draft range for Greater Boston (per listing), with about $500 typical.
Twilight shoots are typically a separate add-on of about $200.
Included: 5 to 10 edited aerial photos, Optional 30 to 90 second edited video, MLS-ready file sizes.
Draft ranges researched from published pilot prices (Massachusetts where available, otherwise national), not a quote or a guarantee. Your written quote comes from the pilot who takes the job.
Questions
Common questions.
How much do drone photos for a listing cost?
Aerials for a Greater Boston listing are typically a few hundred dollars, and published add-on prices for a standard photo package are often lower than booking aerials alone. See the draft range on this page.
Does my listing agent need to approve this?
If you have signed a listing agreement, tell your agent first. Many agents already have a photographer and may want to book the aerials with them, or accept files from another pilot.
Can I get aerials if the house is close to Logan or another airport?
Often yes, but the pilot may need FAA authorization first, and that can cap the altitude. We check the airspace at your address before booking. See the town pages for what applies near Logan, Hanscom and Beverly.
How long until I get the photos?
Plan on the turnaround on this page, counted from the flight day, not from the day you ask.

Each page explains what airspace applies and cites the FAA.
Selling the house? Aerial photos work best alongside a plan for the sale. See a cash offer and a listing side by side.
